Where will the festival be located?

Thanks to the work and support of Events DC, we will now be hosting the festival IN THE DISTRICT! The signature event, the Black Greek Festival, will now be at the Gateway DC, the premier state-of-the-art venue in Southeast, D.C.
This sustainable facility (accessible by D.C. Metro, Uber, Lyft, and car) provides an innovative and unique venue for District locals and visitors to gather. Part open air and part covered pavilion, Gateway DC features a vegetated green roof, built-in exhibitor booths, and a cafe!

Is the event rain or shine?

Yes! Be sure to stay tuned to our Instagram page (@blackgreekfest) to stay tuned for any updates throughout the weekend. Also, subscribe to our mailing list to stay up to date as well!

Where can I register for the event?

The event registration for the festival on July 24th can be found here.

Who are the hosts/DJ's for the event?

All hosts and DJ's can be found on our Eventbrite page.

Do I have to be Greek to attend?

While the event is targeted to the Greek community, all events are open to those who do not identify as Greek. Black Greek Festival asks that non-Greek attendees do not mimic any signs, sounds or actions related to Black Greek organizations.

How old do I have to be to attend?

All attendees must be 21+. Government-issued identification cards will be checked at the entrance of all events.

What is a "cooler ticket"?

A cooler ticket allows you to bring a cooler of beverages into the event! We don't check to see WHAT the beverage is, but all beverages must be in a plastic or paper container. Glass containers will not be allowed.

Can I purchase tickets at the door?

Yes--tickets may be subject to an increase different than the advertised ticketing prices on our Eventbrite page.
